Perivoli Schools Trust is looking for committed and capable individuals to join our team as Trainers in the Southern, Central, and Northern regions of Malawi. This role is offered on an independent service provider contract, with payment based on the work completed in a month.
Responsibilities or duties
- Train and support teachers in schools.
- Supervise and guide groups of teachers and school leaders.
- Collect data and write clear reports.Newspapers
- Share your knowledge and expertise with stakeholders.
- Attend meetings, training sessions, and related activities.
Qualifications or requirements
- Be based in one of the following districts: Mzimba, Rumphi, Nkhata-Bay, Dedza, Nkhotakota, Ntcheu, Lilongwe, Phalombe, Chiradzulu, Chikwawa, or Mangochi.
- Be fluent in both the local language of your area and English.
- Respect and work well with people from different languages, faiths, tribes, and backgrounds.
- Be available on weekday mornings and willing to work some weekends when necessary.
- Be flexible and ready to attend meetings, trainings, and other assignments at short notice.
- Be comfortable working with underprivileged communities, including children, teachers, and caregivers.
- Be physically fit and able to walk long distances.
- Be available for interviews at short notice, including weekends, if required.
Experience needed
Experience in teaching, community work, and proven training ability is an added advantage.
Any other provided details
A relevant diploma or higher qualification from a recognized institution.
Ability to use a smartphone (this will be assessed).
Ability to follow written instructions carefully (assessed during the application stage).
Personal qualities such as honesty, patience, and integrity are essential.
