Job Overview
Central Poultry Limited is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Training Manager to establish and lead the Group’s training function. The role is responsible for driving skills development, leadership growth, and performance improvement across all levels of the organisation.
The Role
The Training Manager will design, implement, and oversee comprehensive training and development initiatives that support business growth, operational excellence, and workforce capability building across the Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct training needs assessments across the Group
- Develop and implement strategic training plans aligned to business goals
- Design and deliver technical, operational, and leadership training programmes
- Develop training materials and learning resources
- Coordinate and manage external training providers
- Implement e-learning and blended learning solutions
- Measure training effectiveness and return on investment (ROI)
- Maintain training records and ensure compliance
- Manage training budgets
- Build internal trainer and facilitator capacity
- Prepare and present training reports to senior management
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional training qualification is highly desirable
- 7–10 years’ experience in training and development, with at least 3–5 years at managerial level
- Experience in manufacturing, food processing, or agriculture is an added advantage
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills
- Proven experience in training needs analysis and competency frameworks
- Ability to measure and report training impact
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms
- Strong project management skills
