Chibuku Products Limited (CPL), Malawi’s leading manufacturer and distributor of opaque beer brands Chibuku Shake-Shake, Chibuku Super, and non-alcoholic beverages including Maheu Super, invites applications from results-driven, passionate, and self-motivated Malawians (men and women) to fill the following positions across our brewery network.
Responsibilities or duties
The Workshop Foreman (Vehicles) will be responsible for the supervision, coordination, and control of all vehicle maintenance and repair activities to ensure the availability, reliability, and safe operation of the company fleet. The role focuses on effective workshop management, adherence to maintenance standards, and efficient utilization of resources to support business operations.
The position involves supervising vehicle mechanics, planning and allocating vehicle repair and servicing work, inspecting completed jobs, and enforcing safety and housekeeping standards within the vehicle workshop. The successful candidate will play a key role in minimising vehicle downtime, improving maintenance quality, controlling maintenance costs, and ensuring compliance with engineering, safety, and statutory requirements.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
No criminal record
Experience needed
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in Heavy Duty Vehicle maintenance, with supervisory responsibility
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 60
Level of Education: professional certificate
